Our Mutual Friend

Our Mutual Friend is a roleplaying game for 3 - 5 players, that requires a deck of playing cards and a 6-sided dice.

In this game, you and your group of friends have had the same “imaginary friend” since you were young, but now you’re growing up.

You’re all in your clubhouse for the last time, at the end of Summer before you head off to high school or college.

One of you notices that your mutual friend has begun to fade, and wonders if this might be the last night you’ll spend with them. As you sit together in the clubhouse, you become flooded with memories about your friend.

Mechanics

To play the game, you collect cards and discuss memories of your friend alongside the group. The goal of the game is for the players to keep their imaginary friend vivid in their collective memories for as long as possible, by collecting Memory Points.

Each player aims collect three cards of any one suit, or three cards of numerical order in any suit in order to collect points.

At the end of the game, the imaginary friend is either retained in memory or is lost to time.
